STASIEMEESTER
Stasiemeester is a cosy self-catering house for up to 6 people in the village of Chrissiesmeer, and is just a short walk of the centre of the village. The house consists of 3 bedrooms that share the use of 2 bathrooms (1 with a bath and the other with a shower). Two of the rooms are furnished with double beds, while the third room has 2 single beds. For convenience, linen and towels are provided. The unit has a kitchen that is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, a microwave, a stove and oven, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. Braai facilities are available behind the house, and secure parking is provided. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement.,

Stay in a house rich in history: Barclays erected the sandstone building in the early 1900’s. After the closing of the bank the property served among other things as a coffee shop, an art gallery, a private residence and was recently renovated as a self-catering guesthouse. The house accommodates six people in 3 en-suite bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms and a twin room. Beautiful wooden floors, fireplaces, and stained-glass doors in the living room, lots of original paintings and fully equipped kitchen add to the warm ambience and atmosphere of the house. Braai area outside.

Stayed two nights in this very comfortable, well equipped three bedroom cottage. The quaint period furniture, original artworks combine beautifully with the recently renovations to add ambiance to this historical house. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay!
Was very pleasant and cosy. Our first time to Chrissiesmeer but we will definitely come back. The Stasiemeester had all the comfort including hot water bottles and a fireplace for the cold night. It is just a short walk to a lovely historical restaurant and gin garden. Next time we will stay longer to explore the wonderful surrounding lakes.
Very fun and cute little house. Perfect for a breakaway weekend and to relax. We'll equipped for the cold with heaters, soft blankets and down duvets. Highly recommended!
CHRISSIESMEER
This small historic town of Chrissiesmeer is the center of South Africa's largest lake district with some 270 lakes and pans located within a 20 km radius of the village. The lakes and pans lure thousands of flamingos every year, and the various activities can be enjoyed in the area such as bird watching, swimming, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and more. Come experience old time magic in this beautiful setting.
